Video Formats, eg .mov, avi
|
A video format is the type of form in which a video is structured by.
For example .mov is used for files on apple computers, and the avi format in
used on pc formats.

Streaming
|
The transfer of data so that it is processed in a continual stream
websitesuch as youtube and video stream other videos
|
File Compression
|
The breaking down of data size, in order to save more time and file
space. Disadvantages include that the file quality decreases and errors can
occur during the compression

Aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:9
|
The ratio of the width to the height of image/video. 4:3 is the
normal ratio for TV screens and 16:9 is used by movie producers.

Frame rates
| The frame-rate says how many images of a movie are
displayed every second a movie is played. The higher frame rate a movie has
the smoother objects move in the movie. |
